Christmas Miracles
This year's Christmas was pretty great.
I always have secret wants for Christmas, but I don't ask for anything. I always feel sorta weird about getting Christmas presents because I feel like I never deserve anything.
So a few months ago I was telling my mom some stuff I wanted-- mostly useful stuff like warm weather clothes and shoes but they are all so expensive. Just to show her my tastes I showed her exactly the things I wanted-- stuff like a Mountain Hardwear jacket and Five Fingers and a pair of combat boots and some nice cameras I would like to save up money to purchase. Knowing these were impossible to get I simply moved on.

Pilots vs. Hurricanes
Yesderday I went to my first ever high school football game. It was our school (Norview Pilots) against another (Newport News Hurricanes) as a home game.
Even though we got slaughtered (35-10), it was the most fun I've had in a while.
Photo Project
I'm starting a new photo project.
Well, two actually.
I want to capture repetitions, the beauty of them, and the variations within repetitions.
Also, I want to catch small, very intimate details of everyday things that no one notices.
Starting now.
Worth It
I like drawing barcodes on my feet.
Why?
People are a product of this world. We are here, we work, and then we're gone. Some are broken, some just look pretty and don't do anything, some are practical, some entertain us, etc. etc.
Barcodes tell what something is, describing it, giving it a title and a worth. They're generally found on the bottom of things.
To me, barcodes are a symbol that we're people, and we're all unique and valuable to this world.
It will be the only tattoo I'll get when I'm older.
